DISEASE 409 (BN409):  A 37-year-old female patient, Filipino nationality, specialist in education field.

On July 19, the patient from South Korea entered Phu Quoc Airport on flight QH9461 and was isolated shortly after entry in Phu Quoc district, Kien Giang.

On July 20, the patient was sampled and tested positive for SARS-CoV-2.

Currently the patient is isolated and treated at the Medical Center of Phu Quoc district.

PATIENT 410 (BN410):  Male patient, 25 years old, located in Thuy Loi, Tien Lu, Hung Yen.

PATIENT 411 (BN411):  30-year-old female patient with address at Dư Lân, Việt Trí, Phú Thọ.

CASE 412 (BN412):  Male patient, 49 years old, with address at Nam Ly, Dong Hoi, Quang Binh

All 3 patients above from the Russian Federation (transit Belarus) on flight VN5062 to Van Don airport on 17/7 (previously 16 cases positive for COVID-19 on this flight have been reported in 3 provinces: Nam Dinh: 4 shifts, Ninh Binh: 8 shifts and Hoa Binh: 4 shifts) and was concentrated in isolation right after the entry at Battalion 2, Regiment 180, Nam Dinh Provincial Military Command.

On July 17, Nam Dinh Center for Disease Control took the first sample and tested negative for SARS-CoV-2. The patients were sampled for a second time on July 22 and had a positive screening result for SARS-CoV-2.

The sample was sent to the National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology for confirmation, on July 23, there were 3 samples positive for SARS-CoV-2.

Currently, these 3 patients are being isolated and treated at Nam Dinh General Hospital.

Total cases:  – From 6:00 p.m. to 6 p.m. to 6 p.m. on July 23: 98 days, Vietnam has had no cases of infection in the community.

– As of 6pm on July 23: Vietnam had a total of 272 imported cases that were immediately quarantined.

– From 6am to 6pm on July 23: 4 new cases recorded.

Number of quarantined people: Total number of people who have been in close contact with and entering from the epidemic area under medical monitoring (quarantine): 10,336, of which:

– Concentrated isolation at the hospital: 352

– Concentrated isolation at other establishments: 9,379

– Isolation at home, accommodation: 605

According to the report of the Committee for Treatment of the Steering Committee – National COVID-19 prevention and control, up to now, there have been 365/412 total cases of COVID-19 of our country announced to be cured . Particularly for foreign patients, up to now, 50 patients with foreign nationality have been cured by Vietnam. There has been no death in the patient’s death with COVID-19.

As of the afternoon of July 23, among COVID-19 patients being treated and monitored at medical facilities, there are currently 6 patients with negative test results 1-2 times for the virus. SARS-CoV-2. Currently, 41 patients are positive for the virus causing COVID-19.

Most of the patients are being treated in medical facilities today, most of them have stable health. Currently, Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases 2 is treating 05 cases. At Ba Ria-Vung Tau General Hospital, 09 cases are being treated; Binh Son-Quang Ngai district health center treats 01 case; Bac Lieu Provincial General Hospital 02 cases; General Hospital of Ca Mau province treated 01 case; Le Loi Hospital, Vung Tau City treated 01 case; General Hospital of Nam Dinh province treated 08 cases; General Clinic Cau Yen area, Hoa Lu district, Ninh Binh province treated 08 cases; Hai Duong Tropical Hospital treated 01 case; General Hospital of Hoa Binh province treats 04 cases … Phu Quoc District Medical Center treats 01 case.
